2017 National Cancer Registrars Week
CHAMPS Oncology Celebrates 2017 National Cancer Registrars Week
CHAMPS Oncology will celebrate the 2017 National Cancer Registrars Week (NCRW) April 10-14, 2017. With more than 40 years in the cancer registry profession, CHAMPS Oncology is pleased to join National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) in honoring cancer registrars and their commitment to quality cancer data management.
This year’s NCRW theme, "Cancer Registrars: Putting the Pieces Together,” reflects cancer registrars’ role in compiling the critical information needed to support effective cancer treatment and research, with the ultimate goal of preventing cancer and finding a cure.
“At CHAMPS Oncology, our cancer registrars are our number one asset. We consistently strive to emphasize the importance of our cancer registrars and their passion for the cancer registry industry and the impact they make in the fight against cancer,” said Toni Hare, RHIT, CTR, vice president. “This week is an excellent opportunity to highlight their efforts in raising the bar for the cancer registry profession and recognize the impact they have on our client’s cancer programs, cancer patients and everyone in the world that has been impacted by cancer.”
CHAMPS Oncology recognizes the critical work being done by its highly skilled, experienced cancer registrars, and all cancer registrars nationwide and is joining in celebrating the 2017 National Cancer Registrars Week by:
- Sending out personal thank you notes along with a token of appreciation to each and every dedicated team member.
- Posting cancer registry facts on their Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest accounts.
- Displaying the NCRW logo on their lobby monitor to thank our valued registrars.
- Creating and sharing a NCRW 2017 video blog.
